My name is Michaela and I provide coaching in the field of Somatic Sexology, focusing on holistic system that blends an integrative Eastern and Western approach.
My curriculum, Sexological Bodywork is a body based educational modality, that supports individuals, couples or groups to embrace their human condition, so they can deepen their erotic development and wellbeing.
By blending intuition and informed decision making, you can unlock your potential and heal relationship with your body, break through generations of shame and misinformation.
Sexuality directed towards evolution
Sexuality and mindful practice wake up your body to create deeper neuro-flexibility, strengthens the bridge between brain and body. Sexual health, erotic education and pleasure are not only basic human rights, but basic human requirements for wellbeing.
Sex is your pathway to nervous system integration and brain rewiring. It light up new neural pathways, connecting the oldest pats of your brain to the rest of your body.
How do we choose to grow our brains? Through repetitive behavior and patterns based on fear, shame, and negative social messaging?
Or do we break through our own condition and expand our relationship between the brain, the body, thought processes, and habits?
Any form of conscious sexuality will activate new neural pathways, fostering deeper connection and a richer experience of living in our bodies. Somatic education addresses systemic social and sexual ignorance.
The sacred science of sexuality was practiced in all ancient cultures. Body-mind unifyng traditions are recognizing that there is energy informational exchange that grows our capacity for learning and interaction with the world, enriching our life.
Vulva mapping and scar remediation
People with vulva often can't feel specific areas of their vulva or vagina. Gynecological surgery, sexual trauma or birth trauma can often leads to numbness coupled with dissociation. When we can identify moment of dissociation and inquire about a sensation, image, behavior, affect or memory that spontaneously arises, it links the cognitive with somatic. During the mapping process, tissue spontaneously can change. Once the body integrates it, feeling starts to return and vulva improve genital funkctions. Information from cognitive tissue receptors are deliver to the brain. The speed of this information transfer is postulated to be on the rate 200 times faster than the nervous system. Making the link between the body, mind and brain.
What we don't know can limit our sensations, so our sexual experience. Mapping creates mental representation of previously unknown parts of ourselves.
Funkcion and location of vulva tissues are very useful for locating scar tissues.
